Energy is the essential “ingredient” in any manifesting ritual – your energy must match whatever you’re trying to attract.

Without recalibrating your energy to harmonize with the vibration of your desires, you can’t expect to get what you want.

33 Ways to Raise Your Vibration Quickly Before Manifesting

Every second of every day, we’re all emitting a specific vibration.

When you sense someone’s energy is “off” or feel instantly drawn to someone, it’s because you’re picking up on their energetic output, AKA their “aura”.

Since everything around us is energy (albeit in different forms), our vibe is greatly influenced by our environment and the things we consume, e.g. food, drink, fragrances, music, social media, television, and sex!

With a little bit of “energetic manipulation”, we can realign our vibration to a higher state, which is crucial to manifest the things that make us feel excited, happy, and fulfilled.

Vibe high and attract positive things by practicing the following 33 quick exercises before a visualization meditation:

1. Envision a Fond Memory

Close your eyes and remember a moment that brought you immense bliss, whatever that might be. When we feel happy, our vibration inevitably rises.

After a few minutes of reminiscing on those positive memories, harness your elevated emotions to picture yourself quantum leaping into your new desired reality.

2. Bathe in Epsom Salts

If you own a bathtub or have access to one, I highly recommend bathing in Epsom salts. I’ve done this before and I plan on doing it again soon because it released a lot of heavy energetic baggage that was clinging onto my aura.

Salt is a purifying agent (both physically and spiritually) making it ideal for cleansing and priming our auras to attract what we desire. Add two cups of Epsom salt (approximately 475 grams) and soak for at least 15 minutes before visualizing your manifestations.

3. Dab Frankincense Oil on the Roof of Your Mouth

Your soft oral palette (the roof of your mouth) is closely connected to the brain and pineal hand, AKA the “third eye”. By dabbing some natural therapeutic-grade frankincense oil on the roof of your mouth before a manifestation meditation, you can support brain function and reportedly increase your spiritual connection.

When frankincense — a sacred high-vibrational substance mentioned in biblical texts and backed by science — crosses the blood-brain barrier, it supports neuroinflammation, activates parasympathetic healing, and is said to promote clarity, peace, and intuition.

4. Boost DMT Production with Your Breath!

Not only is breathing essential for life, but also for manifestation. The way you breathe creates ripples of energy throughout every particle of your being, nourishing you on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. Consequently, you can raise your spiritual vibration with a dedicated breathwork routine.

Moreover, certain breathwork exercises can spark DMT production in the pineal gland, thus expanding your consciousness and allowing you to picture your manifestations in your mind’s eye with greater clarity.

5. Have an Orgasm! (Solo or otherwise…)

Sex creates a portal for creative energy that we can channel into our manifesting rituals. Whether you get a helping hand or do it yourself, having an orgasm is going to make you feel good… really good.

Envision the things you want to manifest as you climax (probably better if you’re doing a self-help job since it would be kinda rude to think of something else if you’re with someone) or directly after while you’re still vibrating high. 😉

Don’t overdo it though, because you might drain your creative energy!

6. Rub or Tap the Space Between Your Eyebrows (Third Eye)

Take your middle finger and firmly rub the area between the eyebrows, also known as the ‘Yin Tang’ point’. This popular method of relieving anxiety, stress, and headaches — commonly used in acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) — is believed to stir up activity in the pineal gland or ‘Third Eye Chakra’ (Ajna).

Many meditations also focus on this technique (especially tapping) to stimulate intuition and spiritual awareness. When your intuition sharpens, you become more aligned with the things that support your soul’s true purpose. Simply put, you’ll be attracting the right things, people, and events into your life.

7. “Program” an Energy-Amplifying Crystal with Your Intentions

You don’t need crystals to attract your desires. After all, you’ve been manifesting your entire life! However, in my experience, crystals help me to feel more spiritually attuned and as though anything is possible, which creates a shift in my mindset and allows me to attract the things I want much more effortlessly.

Their crystalline structure can absorb and emit energy, so hold an energy-amplifying crystal — like crystal quartz or labradorite — and imagine your manifestations infusing with the stone. Hold it in your right hand to “program” it and your left hand to “receive” the gemstone’s sacred energy.

8. Face Your Palms and Soles to the Sun or Moon

We have two immensely useful sources of energy beaming radiant rays of light down on us everyday — the Sun and the Moon. These essential elements of our Universe can amplify the rate at which our manifestations transpire into reality.

“Charge” your body and activate life force energy flow by lying down flat on your back on a comfortable surface outdoors. Face the palms of your hands and soles of your feet to the Sun or Moon for a few minutes to absorb solar or lunar energy, giving your spiritual vibration a boost.

Sun salutations can also help to clear energy blockages and align your frequency with Source.

9. Inhale Essential Oil-infused Steam (Cautiously, obviously…)

Any 100% pure and organic essential oil that has been properly extracted will maintain a high vibration. Essential oils like cedarwood, frankincense (147Mhz), jasmine, juniper, lavender (118Mhz), lemongrass, myrrh (105Mhz), patchouli, and rose (320Mhz) are some of the most powerful oils.

You could sniff an aromatic essential oil inhaler stick or just bask in the ambience of a sweet-scented room adorned with a diffuser device. Roll-on essential oils can also be applied to pulse points to heighten their scent and rejuvenate your senses.

10. Do Some Star Jumps Outdoors!

Was it too short? Or maybe you didn’t appreciate it enough while it was all around you? Well, the summer is sailing away and it won’t be back til next year… But there’s a beginning in an end. Enjoy the golden colors of this autumn! 🍂

Star jumps — or “jumping Jacks” as they are commonly known — rely on rhythmic movements that may offer meditative benefits, helping to calm the mind and ease tension. On top of this, physical exertion promotes the release of feel-good chemicals called ‘endorphins’.

It doesn’t have to be star jumps, either! Any type of high-intensity short-burst physical activity can get you feeling happy and grounded while boosting circulation and positively influencing your vibrational frequency.

11. Chew Some Raw Ginger (or Drink It)

Natural ginger is a high-frequency ingredient that is praised in Hindu texts like Ayurveda, Tantra, and Tibetan medicine as a ‘positive pranic food’ – meaning that it is rich in ‘prana’ AKA ‘vital life force’ energy (or ‘Qi’ as it is known in traditional Chinese medicine).

When we activate and stimulate the flow of prana throughout our bodies, we reach a more “superhuman” state. Well-regulated and harmonized prana is linked to greater spiritual development and awareness, not to mention better overall health.

12. Drink a Green Smoothie (or Something Naturally Colourful)

Many superfoods are green – such as kale, spinach, spirulina, wheatgrass, and Chlorella. These high-frequency foods are loaded with nutrients and energy-boosting goodness that may positively enhance your body’s energetic state. Their green colour also helps to connect us with Planet Earth’s abundance.

You can blend any colourful natural ingredients together to make a high-vibrational smoothie – consider blue and purple fruits or vegetables to stimulate the Third Eye (Ajna) chakra. Add a little bit of raw ginger for an added intuitive boost.

(Here’s a green smoothie recipe I came up with that helped me detox heavy metals from my body and regain my spark.)

13. Use a Tibetan Singing Bowl to Tweak Your Vibe

Using Tibetan singing bowls is popular among sound healing circles and in Tibetan Buddhism cultural traditions worldwide, such as China, Japan, India, Nepal, and Tibet.

These decorative and soul-soothing instruments can help awaken our chakras – when all seven of our energy centers are working harmoniously, it’s easier to align with our dreams.

Choose the singing bowl wisely, because each bowl will emit a specific frequency. Consider one that helps activate the Crown (Sahasrara) or Third Eye (Ajna) chakra for powerful manifesting.

14. Revive Your Aura with Berries & Nuts

Snacking throughout the day helps to maintain a healthy metabolism and sustain energy levels… so long as you’re snacking on the right things, of course!

Visualization meditations are more effective after you’ve eaten “light” or “high frequency” foods that compliment your aura and energy centres. Some people might roll their eyes at this, but everything has a frequency and it really does matter — you are what you eat.

In particular, raw and unprocessed berries and nuts are welcome snacks because they can enhance your overall energy while giving your body a wallop of nutrients.

15. Drink Some “Nurtured” Water

I previously wrote about the time I manifested a job (with a very specific monthly salary in a particular industry) into my life using the power of drinking water. I followed something called the “two cup method”, but there are endless ways to manifest with water.

Simply by drinking some filtered water, you can raise your vibration. Talk to your water (e.g. “I am attracting good health and prosperity with this water”) and you’re on another level of manifestation!

It also helps to envision your desires seeping into the water particles before drinking it, followed by a focused visualization meditation.

16. Stimulate Your ‘Sahasrara’ Under a Cold Shower or Waterfall

Had the privilege of an empty Beaver Falls on the way back from the Confluence and took full advantage of it.  Decided to expand my horizon on shots that aren’t just epic photos to show the scale of the environment, but rather a more intimate shot.  The shot that shows the gentle motion of her fingers grazing the water.  The shot that makes you feel as if it’s just the two of you, surrounded by beautiful blue waters and a cascading waterfall.  The shot that shows the delicacy of each water drop reflecting off the slippery surface of the hidden rocks in the falls.  This is my attempt.

Water is known for its cleansing properties. Just like meditating while walking in the rain (Kinhin), getting the top of your head wet under a cold shower or waterfall is an effective way of activating your seventh energy centre, AKA the “Crown Chakra” (Sahasrara).

Sahasrara helps facilitate visions and connect with your Higher Self. Obviously a waterfall is preferred over a shower due to the natural and aesthetic aspects, but either method can help to eliminate energy blockages.

Plus, studies on cold water immersion suggest that it reduces inflammation, boosts the immune system, and promotes healthy sleep. (1)

17. Praise Yourself in the Mirror (Big Time)

To manifest well, you’ve got to believe and have confidence in yourself. Mirror work is an intriguing and self-transformative technique that involves looking at your reflection for personal growth and self-healing.

Talking to yourself in the mirror (e.g. setting intentions for the future) each morning, multiple times a day, or just before a meditation can help reinforce your beliefs and supercharge your manifestations.

Looking at and praising yourself in the mirror has been shown to boost self-confidence and self-love, which is important for successful manifestation. So, big yourself up in the mirror for a few minutes before trying to manifest something!

18. Ask Your Spirit Guides for Support to Attain Your Goals

I went to a pub with a friend and during our conversation I got distracted again and again by these rainbow lights that have been created naturally by some glass around us. When I showed her, she started playing with the lights (after 2 beers) and I was fast enough to capture that moment.

If you’re not calling on your Spirit Guides when you’re trying to manifest something, you’re missing out on valuable support. You might not see them, but they’re always there; waiting for you to invite their Divine assistance.

By asking for their guidance before a visualization meditation, not only can your Spirit Guides help steer you in the right direction (e.g. giving you a nudge to attend a “random” event that leads to a new job offer) but also, you can align yourself with the vibration of faith, which is crucial for successful manifestation.

19. Meditate for 10 Mins to Prime Your Manifesting Abilities

Manifestation typically requires some level of meditation, whether it’s a quick visualization before sleep or when you wake up in the morning. To strengthen your manifesting abilities and shift not only your mindset but your frequency into a higher state (corresponding with the vibration of the thing you desire), tap into the power of deep meditation.

This is particularly important if you’re having trouble manifesting something. Try to meditate for a minimum of 10 minutes to reach a calm state of awareness and expand your consciousness before actually visualizing and feeling your desires materializing on the physical plane.

20. Tell Five People You Love Them (& Mean It…)

It’s always nice to spread the love, but you’ve got to really mean it. You can’t just tell someone you love them and expect your spiritual vibration to take an instant hike up north.

If it’s not genuine emotion, it’s not going to work. Focus on the people in your life who you love unconditionally, such as your family members, your soulmates, and close friends.

The frequency of unconditional love (528 Hz) is among the highest on the emotional vibrational scale nd is one that we should all aim to embody on a daily basis.

21. Run Through a Forest Barefoot

To successfully attract something into your life on Planet Earth, you need to get your head out of the clouds somewhat (I know it’s fun…) and connect with the Earth. One of the best ways of doing this is through ‘grounding’ techniques, such as barefoot walking in nature.

Even if you don’t live near a forest, take the opportunity to slip off your sandals, sneakers, or boots whenever you find a patch of grass, muddy terrain, or sand.

Walking barefoot stimulates over 200,000 nerve endings in our feet, which transport signals to the brain to release serotonin, promoting happiness – key for positive manifestation. (2)

22. Dunk Yourself in the Ocean

Just staring at the ocean has been been proven to induce a meditative state by altering brainwaves. (3) Both water and salt are energetically purifying substances, capable of clearing and reviving our energy field.

A paddle or swim in salt water can work wonders for aligning our energy with higher vibrations. Make sure you dunk your head under, too, because you wouldn’t want to neglect your Crown Chakra!

23. Stretch Your Limbs to Untangle Energy Blockages

Moving your body is essential for promoting optimum Qi (life force) energy flow. The next time you try to manifest something with visualization techniques or other, spend a few minutes stretching your limbs beforehand.

Not only will a little stretching session stimulate blood circulation but also, the combination of movements and breathwork will put your mind at ease and align your energy with the power of the most enlightened extension of your soul — your ‘Higher Self’.

24. Listen to an Upbeat Song (& Sing/Dance Along!)

The “law of vibration” majorly influences our reality – like attracts like. So, if you are listening to depressing and tear-jerking music, you’re going to wind up feeling melancholic and act as a magnet for events, people, and things that match that vibration.

This is why it is so important to pump yourself up with some upbeat music before visualizing the things that you want to bring into your life. Feel euphoric and envision your dream life as though it’s already yours.

25. Say or Write Three Things You Are Grateful For

Your thoughts vibrate on different levels, so if you’re vibrating on the spectrum of gratitude — a desirable emotion with a frequency of around 540 MHz (based on psychiatrist Dr. David R. Hawkins’ emotional frequency chart)— you can ramp your energetic state up a few notches to attract more abundance.

By directing your focus from lack and negativity to prosperity, the Universe will respond with plenty of well-deserved blessings.

26. Speak Yourself into a Positive State of Manifestation

University of Pennsylvania researchers discovered that repeating self-affirmations produces physical changes in brain regions associated with self-processing, ultimately transforming people’s view of themselves. These changes were linked to subsequent positive changes in people’s behaviour.

By speaking repeated sequences of words out loud, we can strengthen our energetic field and shift ourselves into a positive frequency that attracts (rather than repels) the things that we want.

27. Practice Specific Energy-purifying Yoga Poses

It goes without saying that yoga is an effective way of lifting your spiritual vibration and aligning yourself with the Divine Source – two essential elements of successful manifestation.

Regardless of whether you consider yourself a “yogi” or perhaps don’t even own a yoga mat, it’s definitely worth opening your body’s energy channels and enhancing your spiritual vibration by practicing movements like the Bridge Pose, Downward-Facing Dog, Tree Pose, and Warrior II.

28. Recite a Mantra Three Times (Like This One…)

Just like affirmations, mantras combine a variety of words that carry unique vibrations When our inner world changes, our outer world transforms – mantras hold the key to unlocking elements of our inner world and spirituality that may have previously lay dormant.

I recite the ‘Hare Krishna’ mantra when I want to attract something miraculous, but you can say any high-vibrational mantra before a manifestation meditation for faster results. By chanting a mantra at least three times, the words imprint a vibration into your energy field, acting like a magnet for resonating frequencies.

29. Offload Negative Emotions on Paper and Burn It

Imagine that your body is a bag and it is storing big blocks of energy. Some of those blocks are light (positive energy) while others are heavy (negative energy). The heavier the bag, the less comfortable you’ll feel and, consequently, the less happy you’ll be.

Heavy energy can not only weigh down our energetic field but also create mental chatter that can make it difficult to focus on the things we want to manifest.

A simple (and fast) exercise to release energy blockages involves writing down the negative emotions and thoughts you wish to offload, starting each sentence with the following:

“I am ready to release negative energy blockages caused by [enter thought or emotion here] and am stepping into the best version of myself.”

30. Banish Aura Negativity with Incense Smoke

“Aura cleansing” is an easy practice that you can do from home with just a lighter and some incense sticks (or another purifying scented substance like sage or palo santo). The use of incense plays a big role in many elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Christian worship, with incense being discussed in both the Old and New Testaments.

Particulate matter contained in burning incense is released into the air, cutting through dense energy and replacing it with a softer, more inviting atmosphere. Certain incense scents are more purifying than others, so do your research before stocking up!

31. Listen to Binaural Beats for 15 Minutes

As I discussed briefly in number 24 on this list, music can rapidly switch our mood from north to south. The more elated you feel, the easier you can manifest positive change in your life. Binaural beats are specially designed to interact with our energy fields and transform our spiritual state, let alone our physical and mental state.

There are endless types of binaural beats, each with its own unique frequency that corresponds to certain emotions or desired outcomes. For manifesting, try listening to a blend of 432 Hz, 528 Hz, and 963 Hz.

32. Sungaze or Candlegaze

Focusing your attention on subtle light sources is a yogic vibration-raising tradition called ‘Trataka’. Studies exploring sungazing during sunrise or sunset (not midday sun) and candlegazing suggest that these meditative practices may improve concentration, memory, and vision.

I even watched a man’s reel on Instagram today claiming that sungazing healed a stigma in his eye that previously disrupted his vision. (Note: Sungazing is not scientifically proven to cure eyesight or help with manifestation – the manifestation theory is based on my experiences combined with spiritual, theosophical, and esoteric concepts.)

33. Get Your Vitamin D

While visiting Zanzibar I had the pleasure of photographing Cecilia. We took a walk through the beaches and snapped some random photos. Cecilia has a rough background but came out stronger on other side and focuses on being a role model for younger girls. It was inspiring to get her to relax and laugh, which took some effort - but so worth it!

While you are sungazing, you will also be getting a healthy dose of vitamin D! As little as 30 minutes of sunlight exposure every day can drastically raise your spiritual vibration and welcome all-important solar codes (or “light codes”) into your Crown Chakra.
